Horton Plains National Park is a high-altitude plateau at 2,100 metres above sea level, cloaked in cloud forest, montane grassland and silent morning mist. The park’s signature walk leads to World’s End, a sheer escarpment that drops 870 metres in a near-vertical cliff, offering one of the most dramatic and disorienting viewpoints imaginable when the clouds briefly part. Baker’s Falls, a graceful cascade hidden in the forest along the same trail, adds a moment of lush beauty to the journey.
